- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I used to hate the dentist.... I actually now enjoy it?! OK, call me crazy, but to me the dentist was this horrible place with funny smelling waiting rooms, and a non personal experience. After a rather traumatic accident when i tripped and fell onto my teeth, i decided to switch dentists (I needed a pretty urgent appointment and couldn't wait 7 days for an urgent slot at my old dentist!) - so i gave the Wimbledon dentist a try. They gave me an appointment within a few hours! And wow, am i glad I did. I met with Maggie (who is phenomenal). She explained everything, helped 'patch me up' whilst we planned for the more major work to be done, and really eased my fears. I then ended up having to make multiple trips to get progressive treatments done to put things right. She and the team were awesome. So much so, that I actually started enjoying going! (feels weird to say that, but its true!) In the end, i got my self patched up, we did a root canal, fitted a crown and did some teeth whitening and some hygienist appointments. All super good. Very friendly staff. Very helpful. Reminders via email etc, and they helped work with my dental insurance company whenever that was needed. All in a great experience. And then... I've moved to the USA. Thats kinda irrelevant, but the point here is that in the USA they really do go in for dental work in a more serious fashion than the UK. And, I ended up seeing 2 different dentists here for other reasons; and in both cases they were all amazed at what a good job had been done with the crown. Well colour matched, and very well fitted. Also, when I had some concerns about my treatment in the usa i was able to ask for some guidance from the Wimbledon Dentist and they provided some suggestions. Which was super helpful. Anyway, im now in the USA. I very much miss Maggie and the Wimbledon Dentist. Many thanks for all the support and treatment over the past few years.
