  Since Nuffield took over this gym around a year ago I believe my gym membership has increased twice. In this time the equipment has deteriorated. I have had health assessments that were booked months in advance cancelled with no notification whatsover from the gym (I found out on the day after I called them to check it was still on). Showers and costume driers out of order for long periods. Spa facilities left unfixed for months on end. A feeling that the gym particularly the pool and seated area has become a creche more than a place for people to exercise of unwind after an exercise. I had a personal training session only to find it impossible to the get hold of the card with the details of my routine and then to find out the trainer had lost my record card. I have raised issues with the management on numerous occasions and find that I the member has to chase them for a follow up rather than them apologizing and acting like I am a valued customer. I have now written to the contact provided by the reception staff to cancel my membership and I am approaching 7 days without a response. This gym is appalling and I am only annoyed at myself that I have let them take my payment for this long for a membership I should have cancelled months ago. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM (this does not deserve a star I had to put 1)
